2011 Year End Processing  (updated December 6, 2011)

• Review Year End Documents.

• Complete final Payroll for 2011
• Make a backup copy of MAS 90 data before closing Payroll
  • Copy MAS 90 Company Data
• Close Payroll for 2011
  • Before running a payroll for 2012, make sure to change the Employee FICA rate from 4.2% to 6.2%.  2012 Tax Tables should be loaded after the W-2's are processed for 2011.
• Install the Interim Release Download (IRD) and applicable product updates.   Available on December 20, 2011.
• Run your W-2's from the backup company
• File W-2, 1099 and Governmental Reports
  • 2011 Year End Reporting Options
  • Electronic Reporting Spec Sheet
  • Aatrix Pricing
• Install the 2012 Tax Tables.
• Backup and Close all Modules except Payroll. 

Important Notes

• An Interim Release Download (IRD) and the 2012 Tax tables are available as of 12/20/2011 for MAS 90 versions 4.20 - 4.50.  Your organization must have a current subscription plan in order to install.
• The IRD contains changes for W-2 Reporting, Federal & State eFiling (Aatrix) and the Electronic Reporting Module.
• If you have any add-on modules or enhancements for MAS 90, an update may need to be loaded before installing the IRD.
• MAS 90 versions prior to 4.20 are no longer supported.  There are no year end updates available.
